The place is owned by a really sweet Asian lady in Chinatown and they hosted all sorts of really good and fun events. A gorgeous, talented Black girl on TikTok independently released a single with a music video for it that’s probably one of the few songs I could describe as Goth Pop, both by the sound itself and by her being clearly versed in the goth subculture, and she’s getting so many mean comments. The song is good, she dances gothly and beautifully, her voice is very soft and sweet. Pay her a listen!
i think kids online should really get back to making internetsonas instead of whatever fuckshit this is with putting their entire real faces, names, ages, and such everywhere. you’re not gonna realize how nice internet privacy is until you dont have it anymore and no chance at getting it back. make up a guy and a name and just be that online. make up conflicting details about your completely made up backstory. make a fursona or something

My laptop is a piece of shit. I’ve had it for years now and I should’ve known that this day would come much sooner than I thought.
Ergo, I’m asking for your help in raising funds for this new laptop. I’ve got my eye on the Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED, which has everything I want in a laptop and is a content creator’s/editor’s/multi-tasker’s needs.
I want to work for every cent for this laptop, but I won’t say no to donations either. It’s very important to me to get a proper laptop that can not only stand the test of time and also be useful as someone who makes/edits videos and multitasks like crazy because of my ADHD lol.
It’s a bit pricey, but I do think Asus is asking a fair price based on everything they’ve packed into the laptop. And I have my heart set on this one, so I’m asking for your help in commissioning me so I can get it and be set for the next half-decade or more.
Amazon has it in stock and I can get it as soon as the next day once I have the full funds, so that’s something I’m hoping I can achieve sooner rather than later.

really not a fan of entire (mostly black) music genres being compressed and confined to being seen as “video game” music to be totally honest
acid jazz isn’t acid jazz anymore, it’s persona 5 music. new jack swing is just sonic cd music. jungle is the latest victim of this and is being relabeled as “ps1/n64” music even when the genre exists well beyond the confines of a couple dozen games from that period. and it sucks because the composers/artists who worked on these songs obviously adore those genres and where they come from. it’s not their fault. but it just makes me sad seeing these genres effectively being whitewashed by people with zero interest in learning about their origins
